The train of Pelion, called “Mountzouris” as well, was constructed in order to connect the city of Volos mostly with the western villages of Pelion. Its first route was
approximately in 1903 and its last one was in 1971. “Mountzouris” was a commercial train, serving the trade between the above territories and nowadays is famous as a touristic attraction.
Get on board and travel for 1,5 hour to capture your best moments of your life. In a 16km route with several stops, you will have the opportunity to see 11 stone bridges and the 23m height architectural bridge called “Chalorema”
