Still at work? Jealous of everyone who has been on a holiday mode?
Summer has come earlier this year in Greece and it seems to be
extended…so, no worries! Just keep in mind to book your vacations soon enough to get better prices and don’t let it be
a last minute’s decision. I’m sure you won’t, so…

At this point, I’m going to imaginery travel you in the most quiet beaches in North- eastern Pelion. June is a good month for those who seek quiet and less crowded places to relax.
Having this thought myself, I decided to explore the nearest beaches to Zagora village. Definately, you need your own vehicle or just a rented one, in order to get closer to as many beaches as you can. Of course, there is a transit, but there are some unreachable ones that are worthy to be explored by you.
Tip: In June you can easily find a place to lay down in a beach bar.
Chorefto, Parisaina beach, Elitsa, Analipsi, Agioi Saranta beach. These 5 seasides are close to Zagora and the first two can be reached by using the public transport as well. For the rest you need a vehicle and to be a little bit bravery if you are a new driver, due to the curvy road.
Tip:In June there’s less traffic than in July and mid-August.
Get prepared to feel the cool breeze and listen to the seawaves. Clear your mind and let the sunlight in as a reward for your daily routine….and this is a simple way to embrace greek summer!!!
P.S. Don’t forget to feel the whole greek-summer experience, which includes ice coffee, wine or tsipouro, greek food, local desserts and great cocktails. Enjoy!
