Dear friends from all over the globe!

Nowadays, everyone is facing a strange and hard situation. But, let me guess…there is a moment of happy thoughts…thoughts of traveling alone or with your beloved ones where nothing troubles you. Right?

This moment can be true…not right now. Maybe in a while…maybe it takes more time to fulfill this dream. Still, new places are out there to be discovered by you!

The sea, the sun…summer, winter… people…food and drinks will be more appreciated by you when you miss them for a while. This ‘struggling’ period can be a chance for everyone to get prepared and experience in full a travel when it comes.

That works well for us too! We’re getting prepared to be here for you and ready to welcome you when that happens.

Our approach and explanation of vacations during COVID-19 time and specific the meaning of ‘CORONA TIME’ to us is this:

Even now, there are choices to get out there and reach out places not only imaginary, but in a virtual way…having this option, we’re all getting closer to our next vacations. Not just by dreaming. This time is perfect to choose our next destination. Besides we have plenty of time, don’t we?

Upcoming events in Zagora region

Are you still in the area and looking up where to go, what to see…

here are some of the choices you have these days or maybe let’s say how to spend your nights…

The yearly celebrations in our region are (save the dates):

6-7/7 Saint Kiriaki “Agia Kiriaki square”
26/7 Saint Paraskevi “Agia Paraskevi square”
6/8 Transormation “Sotira square” (it is decided if there is going to be a celebration with yearly announcements close to the date)
8/8 Saint Triantafyllos “Agios Georgios square”
15/8 celebration of Virgin Mary “Madona” at Pouri village.

These are celebrations in Zagora’s four districts in summertime (Agia Paraskevi, Agia Kiriaki, Agios Georgios, Sotira) and the last one is reffered to the village next to ours with happenings such as live greek music and flea markets in some of them.

It’s an international music festival and academy. Every year lovers of classical music gather and share this love in each corner of the village.

Zagora’s historical info

Zagora, in the Eastern coast of Pelion, with luxuriant vegetation and a unique view of the Aegean sea is the biggest village in Pelion. Its history is quite important, particularly during the period that Greece was under the Turkish rule, -i.e. from 15th to 19th century.
